Christina Washington-Koger NYC Correction Officer Receives Public Service Award December 4, 2001

The Isaac Liberman Public Service Awards for Career Civil Service Employees and College Scholar Awards ceremony was held today, Tuesday, December 4th, 2001 at City Hall. Presentations were made by:

Rudolph W. Giuliani, Mayor City of New York

William J. Diamond,Commissioner,                                            Department of Citywide Administrative Services

Richard A. Cook, President  The Hundred Year Association of New York

Six African-Americans received a 2001 Issaac Liberman Public Service Awards for Career Civil Service Employees as follows:

Olajide Wahab, Probation Officer Department of Probation           Received $3,000

Adrian Straker,  Christina Washington-Koger, NYC Correction Officer Received $2,500

The following family, friends and attendees from the New York City Department of Correction were on hand to congratulate Correction Officer Christina Washington-Koger:
