News Release Contact: Alicia Steger (516) 572-9634 Nassau Community College Cultural Program Presents Gangs on Long Island Wednesday, March 13 Garden City, NY The Nassau Community College Cultural Program is proud to present a panel discussion entitled Gangs on Long Island. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the College Center Building. The group assembled to discuss the prevalence of gangs on Long Island will include: NCC Criminal Justice Professor Dr. Ali al-Rahman, a former warden with the New York City Department of Corrections and a member of the New York City Gang Task Force; Suffolk County Detective Wes Daly, Jr., who is chair of the National Gang Investigators Association; Nassau County Detective Corey Alleyne, Special Investigations Unit; and Deputy Warden Emmanuel Bailey, Commanding Officer of the Gang Intelligence Unit of the New York City Department of Correction..
