On 98.7 Kiss FM this morning March 17, 2002 in New York City, the Mayor who has made it part of his administration to reach out the the African American and Latino community and addressed the weeks issues.

First issue, The School System in New York Mr. Mayor  "Let me tell you. I'm too old and the kids are too young.  Something must be done now for the children.  The education system needs to be fixed so that it will work for the children." 

Second issues:  Racial Profiling Mr. Mayor  "The NYPD does not conduct racial profiling. That has always been the rule and now what we have done is to put a policy in  writing that also clearly outlines that.  I said from day one that my administration will be inclusive."

Third issue: Mr. Mayor, Rapes are up in New York City "Rape is a horrible crime and since 911, Ray, the Police Commissioner has been looking at the and addressing the problems of crime.  We will be focusing all of our resources on this problem"
