PATAKI CAMPAIGN RELEASES NEW ADS HIGHLIGHTING GOVERNOR’S PROUD RECORD ON EDUCATION: September 15, 2002

Commercials Feature Real New York Children Talking About What They Want To Be When They Grow Up; Governor Speaks in Spanish

New York – The Pataki campaign today announced the launch of new television commercials highlighting the Governor’s record on education. One ad is in English and the other features the Governor speaking in Spanish. The ads begin running in the New York City media market today.

Pataki Campaign Manager, Adam Stoll, said, “While others use the issue of our children’s education for partisan politics, Governor Pataki has time and time again demonstrated his commitment to New York’s children through record investments in our schools, recruitment of new teachers, computers in the classroom and after school programs.  This ad will reinforce what New Yorkers already know, that when it comes to education, no Governor has worked harder to improve our schools and help our children live their dreams than Governor George Pataki.”
