NO JUSTICE IN LOUIMA ABNER NYPD TORTURE CASE Written by Ralph E. Smith March 1, 02

Once again, the Justice System fails the community it is mandated to serve.  The Federal Court of Appeals in Manhattan  68 page opinion  doesn't establish who helped Vople with the attack.  Vople stated he didn't act alone .  Somehow, no one heard or saw anything inside the 70th Precinct?

Mr. Louima Abner was attacked  by more than one person or said cop while  he was under the care and custody of the NYPD.  Vople could not have held Mr. Louima down on the floor and attacked him in the bathroom using a plunger by himself!

The ruling may in fact free  a good cop named Charles Schwarz, but how can the system just let former NYPD Cop Thomas Wiese walk away free when Vople said, "Wiese, not Schwarz was in the police station bathroom with him during the attack on Mr. Louima Abner.

The decision by the Federal Court of appeals in Manhattan may provide justice for former Cop Schwarz but it is also a form of terrorism aimed at people of color who continue to ask the question, "When will justice be done and done right the first time!"
