2004: Leadership, Vision, Unity, Purpose

Looking back at 2003, it was a tough time in New York City For both City Workers fighting to keep their jobs and Mayor Bloomberg who had to make tough choices. We saw Police and Fire Officers give  their life for New York City.

We saw Mr. James Davis NYC Councilman shot dead inside City Hall, and hundreds die fighting in our present day war.  Safety is now the buss word in America, from the Home Land Security to defending yourself one on one.  2004- Let's Hope No More War.   98.7KISS FM: Special 4 hour January 1, 04 Program starting at 6am!  The Openline Show!

2004: Some organizations beat each other up over the question of Leadership, who and why.

Either lead or get out of  the way.  But what ever you do, work to make your organization, community and family better!

PURPOSE:  Before the first hour of the new year comes, sit down and deal with this word- PURPOSE.  What is your purpose for 2004.  Write it down and then make every step go towards your purpose.

BEST WISHES TO OUR READERS

As we look back at 2003, we at the Guardian Chronicle can say we did some good.

We fought to help New York City Correction Officers get their jobs back by keeping their stories alive in our pages!

The Guardian Chronicle tuned into youth and helped them to be heard!  Feature story on Openline  98.7KissFM

The Guardian Chronicle continued to let the New York City Workers know "You are important and we want to tell your story"

As we move towards 2004, our focus is still on people who make New York Great!  May God Continue to protect and bless your families.

Many thanks to our family, friends, and readers who reached out to Ralph & Renee E. Smith and family when our mother, La-Una Jones Smith died November 15, 2003.  The end of this year was tough, but with God,  family and  friends, The Smith Family is going to be o.k. and run with faith!

Thank you for supporting the Guardian Chronicle. We look forward to producing more stories about our readers in 2004! Send your ideas in!

Sincerely'
