THE GUARDIAN CHRONICLE  http://www.guardianchronicle.com   February 1, 2003: BREAKING NEWS AT 10:45AM by Ralph E Smith The Space shuttle Columbia broke up over Texas  this morning before it was going to land in Florida.  This is the first time in 42 year that there had ever been an accident during the descent to Earth.  The landing was to take place at 9:16am.  The shuttle  was at 207,000 feet over North Central Texas at 9am traveling at 12,500 MPH when Mission Control lost contact. Seven Crew Members are believed to be lost!
