Governor Pataki On The Move by Ralph E. Smith The Governor was on the move today, August 11, 2002 starting his day at 1pm by marching in the Dominican Day Parade at 6th Avenue and 38th Street. At 3pm, Governor Pataki received the Democratic Endorsement for only the second time in its 90 year history from the South Brooklyn Highway Democratic Club. Groups representing more than 40,000 members of statewide law enforcement endorsed the Governor, as well as the 10,000 member National Latino Officers Association. Governor Pataki continued his day with a walking tour of the Coney Island Boardwalk at 4:00pm and ended his day at 6:00pm by attending the Myrtle Avenue Summer Street Festival in Ridgewood, Queens.
