NYC Correction Officers' Union Leader and the NYPD Guardians Denounces Cuomo For Criticizing Pataki Regarding September 11: April 18, 2002 The NYPD Guardians released a statement denouncing Andrew Cuomo for his 911 remarks. Norman Seabrook, President of the 11,000 member New York City Correction Officers' Benevolent Association, said he was "outraged that Andrew Cuomo, a candidate for the Office of Governor, would even begin to criticize the September 11 performance of the best governor New York State has ever had. If you think attacking George Pataki onthis issue is the right course to pursue, then it's fair to say you've already adopted the unsuccessful tactics used int he last Mayoral race by Mark Green."
