The Correction Guardians Association, Inc Swearing in Ceremony of the Newly Elected Executive Board May 9,2006 6pm to 9pm The New York City Correction Guardians Association invitation to the community and all Guardian “Members of Service,” (Uniformed and non-Uniformed) to witness the swearing in ceremony of the new executive board by the Honorable Sylvia G. Ash, Civil Court Justice at the Zip Code was an outstanding community event. Standing room only!
The newly appointed Chief Carolyn Thomas- Chief of the New York City Correction Department was present and her leadership and love for the NYCD and the membership was easy to see as many people stopped by to wish her well. Members of the NYCD administration, the CCA, COBA ADW Association, and Presidents Norman Seabrook-COBA and Roger Toussaint- TWU came out to wish the new Correction Guardian Association Executive Board well.

Father Lawrence, while dealing with his sickness in the hospital and bad health, stood strong to keep the Guardians moving in a positve direction. Words expressed by pass president Ali Al Raham- the M.C and Michael Greys- 1st V.P.
The ceremony took place at ZIP CODE ( formerly:Jimmys Uptown Cafe) 2213 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd (bet 130th & 131st Street), Harlem, NY, 10027 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
