HOMELESS SEX OFFENDER SHELTER IN BABYLON, L.I

Community Family: December 30, 2009

Written by Ed Graham

There's power in numbers. This homeless sex offender shelter will directly impact the safety and security of our families and will negatively decrease what's left of our property value in the Town of Babylon. This is a cause that merits the attention of all homeowners and parents. Sex offenders commit their acts of violence against women and children. The County Executive should consider placing more shelter trailers on the grounds of the Suffolk County jail, so the population sex offenders can get the 24 hour around the clock supervision that is needed for their sick violent minds. As a community of concern parents we must collectively come together, for the best interest of our community at large.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!

Family.

Donald Winkfield is a good and honorable Blackman, at a time when most of our black leadership in the city of NY, was terrified of the city administration, there were a few black men and women that stood up and spoke truth to power regarding the corruption and abuse of authority. Donald Winkfield was one of those individuals. I will always respect him, for not only speaking out on his own issues, but speaking out on behalf of those that had no media vehicle or voice to be heard. Hopefully one day Donald Winkfield will be recognized by our African Family, for his contributions to the struggle of our people, in the NYC Law Enforcement Community.

P.S. Let's not forget about all of our brothers and sisters who were fired unjustfully by the city administration, what about there families and children.

In the spirit of peace and respect, I wish all a healthy holiday season. (COLLECTIVE EMPOWERMENT IS THE KEY TO OUR SUCCESS))

God Bless.
