A Correction Officer Who Never Gave Up! Great Work Gook Luck Captain!

Steven Haimowitz:  Was a very good Officer who helped Everybody!  He's going to be a great Captain as well .

This reporter, Ralph Smith had the opportunity to meet Officer Haimowitz many times.  He also attended the homegoing service for my mother.  He's a great people person and is going to go far in the Department of Correction.

Christopher Schooler has a great future as a Captain.

"I enjoyed meeting Ralph Smith at the Academy in August.  He asked me, Why I became a Correction Officer? Civil service is well paid, has many benefits.  As far as being a Captain. Go the extra mile!  Have perfect attendance and learn as much as you can.  My advice to Correction Officers is to move up to the rank of Captain."

Jason Thompson

Meet Captain Jason Thompson:

"I became a Correction Officer following my father's foot steps.

My advice for anyone looking for a career in law enforcement is to go for it! Everyday is a learning experience and you get to help your community in different ways.

I think Correction Officers who want to move up to the ranks of Captain should go for it!  Keep in mind you get out of it what you put in.
