This 70th Anniversay Celebration of the N.Y.C. Correction Guardians Association was a Night to Remember,
The Correction Guardians 70th Anniversary Dinner Dance was a great success last night....
For those who did not come out, you missed a very important occasion. The presentation of the awards, the music, the food, and the people were outstanding...The room was filled to its capacity with 70+ years of leadership in the black community and people of color in law enforcement. Organizations across the NYC area as far as Plainfield, New Jersey (Plainfied Area Ebony Police Assoc.) were all out in full force.
Occasions like this is why your membership to the NYC Correction Guardian Association, Inc. is so important... No matter what race you are, always be proud of your heritage. Fraternal Organizations are what keep the wheels balanced and the torches lit... Big thanks to our President Thomas Summers, and the Executive Board.
Brother Ralph Smith has a video photo slide with some touching photos of history and a memory some will never forget...
Please view it and make sure you turn the speakers on to your computer. The right choice of music takes your heart back. Email the link around so others can watch it too...
Watching it made me even more proud to be a Guardian.

A ballroom filled with much Cheer, Joy, Happiness and Guardian Power. A night of celebration of Guardians both active and retired. A night of saluting great Guardian presidents both passed and present. A night of saluting great Guardian mentors. I pray that the N.Y.C. Correction Guardians shall continue to keep the torch lit for many more years to come. Rev. Nathaniel White Jr. |
