JEROME RICE A RECORD OF LEADERSHIP Jerome Rice is a resident of the Bronx who has a strong relationship to its people and its future, He has devoted his life to protect the rights for all people of New York City. While serving as the Director of Community Empowerment for 100 Blacks In Law Enforcement Who care, Jerome Rice has taken on various issues that were effecting our community such as: Gang Violence, Wrongful Police Shooting and policies such as: Operation Lucky Bag, Stop & Frisk and fought against both Congestion Pricing and the Re-zoning of Harlem. He is also the creator and facilitator of various survival workshops such as: Gangs “Our Community’s Domestic Terrorist”, Disaster Awareness “Are you ready” and What to do, when you go to court “Because it’s Just-Us and Hunting Season “no where to run, No where to hide”. Jerome Rice also facilitate the What to do, when stopped by the Police workshop. He is a family man who has a Master degree in Business Management and Associate in Computer Science from Monroe College. He has served 22 years in the New York Army National Guard holding the rank of First Sergeant/E8 and 21 years in the New York City Correction Department holding the rank of Captain. He always display the Can Do Attitude. |
