Tuesday

To Ralph E. Smith- Guardian Chronicle:

I'm writing to personally thank you for your support, assistance & prayers throughout the seven years since my/our beloved brother, Honorable Councilman James E. Davis was assassinated inside New York City Hall.

Since that devastating day, July 23, 2003 I made a commitment to James, the community & myself that I would do everything in my power to fight against the violence that is destroying our community.

Our organization, James E. Davis Stop Violence Foundation, has embarked on several educational & social initiatives that has made an impact in the community.
For example, The James E. Davis Multicultural Museum of Peace, The James E. Davis Photographic Art Exhibit, The documentary, Murder At City Hall Councilman James E. Davis' Story, An Annual Peace Breakfast, An American History Tour, GED Preparation Courses, Annual Prostate Cancer Screenings & The Annual Love Yourself Stop The Violence Peace Walk.

Here are some photos of the 3rd Annual Peace Breakfast (Courtesy of Bed-Stuy Applebbee's), Our 17th Annual Love Yourself Stop The Violence Peace Walk, & The Grand Opening of the James E. Davis Multicultural Museum of Peace.

Again, Thank you & may God continue to bless you.
