CORRECTION GUARDIAN ASSOCIATION MEETING

Attention all members and delegates there will be a Guardians meeting on February 8th, 2010 at the Langston Hughes Public Library located at 100-01 Northern Blvd, Astoria Queens, NY (Corner of 100 Street) 5 minutes from Rikers.

If you have not heard of this wonderful R&B RAP group "Regime" they will be performing "Live" that evening thee and I mean thee Guardians sound track "Guardian Regime..." in honor of Black history month.

There will also be Black history moments as well (presentations). This will be the Delegate/Membership meeting, the first for the newly elected Board.

The Delegates will meet at 5pm with the Executive Board, and the membership meeting will take place at 6pm.

Start the new year off by coming to the meetings.

SOUND TRACK BY KENNITH ARMSTEAD, JR

Kennith Armstead, Jr., son of President Kennith Armstead, Sr. took the Presidents speech and composed this sound track with the help of a few friends, Karran Jones, Phylisha Mitchell and Erica Edwards. Kennith and his friends took both the speech, his experience in OBCC and the tragedy in Haiti to make this sound track. When asked about his group, called Regime entertainment, he said that they are just a group of young artist trying to make a difference by presenting positive music and doing positive things
